Virginia Housing's First-Time Homebuyer Class

Thinking about buying your first home but not sure where to begin? Virginia Housing’s free First-Time Homebuyer Class is a two-day seminar designed to walk participants through the entire homebuying process - from budgeting and credit to closing day and long-term homeownership success.

Topics include budgeting, understanding credit and credit scores, financing options, working with a Realtor, the home inspection process, and what to expect on closing day.

Participants who attend both sessions will receive a certificate of completion that satisfies the homebuyer education requirement for Virginia Housing and other first-time homebuyer programs.
