The Bike to Work Day event will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at T-shirt pick-up points known as ‘pit stops’ occurring throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan region. Many but not all local events offer food, beverages, and chances to win raffle prizes for participants. In-kind donations of food, beverages, and raffle prizes will be accepted by the local pit stops through April.

The City of Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities will offer its Power-On Summer Camp Program for elementary-aged youth entering 1st–6th grade in Fall 2025. One location will serve Power-Up Program participants entering 6th–9th grade in Fall 2025. Summer Camp will begin Monday, June 16, and end Friday, August 8.
