The Fire Department, City of Alexandria, VA wants to keep you, your family, and your pets safe during your Fourth of July celebrations. AFD is reminding those who visit, live and work in the City of Alexandria that it is illegal to possess, sell, store, or use any fireworks within the city limits – including sparklers, novelty items, or any fireworks that can be otherwise legally purchased in neighboring jurisdictions.

Celebrate Alexandria 275th Birthday!
The City of Alexandria will celebrate its 275th and the USA’s 248th birthday on Saturday, July 13, at Oronoco Bay Park (100 Madison St.). The event includes live music by the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra and ends with the grand finale -- a fireworks display at 9:30 PM. Admission is free.

The purpose of this project is to create a safer, more accessible, and comfortable travel experience for people of all ages, abilities and travel modes along Holland Lane, from Duke Street to Eisenhower Avenue.
40th Anniversary PNC Parkway Classic
