Volunteer Reception Center Disaster Drill Actors Needed

Get involved and support community preparedness at the upcoming Disaster Drill on Saturday, May 16 from 9:30AM-12PM.

Hosted by the Volunteer Reception Center, this training exercise is seeking volunteer “actors” to simulate individuals arriving to help the community recover after a disaster. Participants will play an important role in testing emergency response efforts while gaining insight into disaster preparedness and local volunteer opportunities.

Snacks and beverages will be provided, making this a great way to give back, learn something new, and support Alexandria’s readiness efforts.
