9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

The City of Alexandria will hold its 25th annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11, from 10–11AM at 3600 Wheeler Ave.

The ceremony will honor the victims and survivors of September 11, 2001, as well as first responders and all those affected by the attacks. The event will also recognize those who risked or gave their lives while responding to the attacks and working to save others.

 Join City officials and staff for a presentation of colors, remarks by Mayor Alyia Gaskins and public safety officials, and a return to quarters ceremony. 

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside APD Headquarters.
